Within OCI Nitrogen, we are temporary looking for an Employee Commercial Accounting.
The Employee Commercial Accounting assist in ensuring the correct, full and in-time registration of financial data in the subsystem and the General Ledger of several processes which serve for the preparation of financial info for internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting the overall credit management process. This includes actively following up on overdue receivables through structured dunning activities and assessing and processing credit limits in close collaboration with the Treasury & Credit Officer, contributing to the minimization of financial risk and the maintenance of healthy cash flow.
Supports the Sales organization in managing rebate agreements by processing and executing rebate contracts, closely monitoring the progress and financial impact of rebate arrangements, and providing clear and timely updates to internal stakeholders.
Ensures the accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts by aligning receivables and payables within OCI and reconciling individual balance sheet positions to guarantee reliable financial data and compliance with accounting standards.
Responsible for preparing and submitting VAT returns and other statutory reports, such as Intrastat and listings, to the relevant tax authorities in a timely and accurate manner.
Monitors wage-related balance sheet accounts to ensure the correct recognition of liabilities and future obligations.
Your Profile
You have attained a minimum education level of MBO/HBO in Accounting/Economic studies. You have at least 3 years’ experience in a relevant position (accounts receivable) with knowledge of fiscal aspects (VAT, custom) and Experience with MS Office, SAP R3. You speak and write fluently Dutch and English.
Besides that, accuracy, analytical skills and good communication skills are necessary competences.
